Site verification for interior fit-out

You can’t be there. Keep one eye on it.

Your site helper uploads fifteen photos. OneEye measures what changed since yesterday, checks the workmanship against your specification, and returns a dated progress record you can act on — without being on site.

The gap

An interior project is invisible for four months.

You approve payments against a WhatsApp voice note saying it’s going well. The concealed work — conduit, waterproofing, plywood grade, plaster thickness — is buried before anyone independent looks at it. By handover, the evidence is behind a wall.

01

You cannot be there

You're in Dubai, or working six days a week. A Sunday visit tells you a wall exists. It cannot tell you what grade of plywood is inside it.

02

Progress is self-reported

“Seventy percent done” is a negotiating position, not a measurement. Payments get released against it anyway.

03

Defects surface too late

Hollow plaster, wrong tile slope, and missing conduit all cost ten times more to fix after the finish goes on.

How it works

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

Step 01

Set up the project once

Upload the drawing and the BOQ or specification. OneEye builds the work-item list, wall by wall, room by room, and the milestone schedule you’ll verify against. Ten minutes, once.

Step 02

Your site team sends photos on WhatsApp

No app to install, no training, no login. The supervisor forwards fifteen photos to a number. Faces are blurred automatically the moment they arrive, before anything else runs.

Step 03

OneEye measures the change

Vision models align today’s frames against the same viewpoints from previous days, quantify what physically moved forward, and check the visible work against your written specification.

Step 04

You get a record, not an opinion

A dated progress percentage per work item, a snag list with locations, and the deviations from spec. You decide what to do. OneEye never releases money.

What it checks

Written for Indian interior fit-out, not generic construction.

The defect library is built around IS-code specifications and the failure modes that actually recur on residential sites here.

  • PLSPlaster coverage, thickness variance, hollow patches, and curing gaps
  • ELEConduit laid and concealed in the correct sequence, box positions against drawing
  • PLYVisible edge stamps and IS grade against what the specification demands
  • TILSpacer gap consistency, lippage, slope toward the floor drain
  • WPRWaterproofing coat coverage and ponding-test evidence before screed
  • CPTCarcass squareness, shutter gaps, hardware alignment on site-made units
  • FCLFalse ceiling frame spacing and level before boarding
  • PNTPutty coats, primer coverage, and finish sheen against the approved shade
  • SEQOut-of-order work that will need to be broken and redone
  • QTYInstalled quantity against the BOQ line so overbilling is visible early
Scope and limits

What OneEye is not.

The name means one eye — yours — on a site you cannot get to. It does not mean many eyes on the people working there. That distinction is the product, and these are boundaries enforced in the system, not preferences. They are repeated in our Acceptable Use Policy. If your goal is any of the following, OneEye is the wrong tool and we will decline the account.

  • Not worker monitoringOneEye assesses physical work, never people. Faces are irreversibly blurred at ingestion, before inference. We do not run facial recognition, gait analysis, or any biometric process.
  • Not attendance or productivity scoringWe do not count people, identify individuals, measure how long anyone worked, or rate the performance of any named person or crew.
  • Not an automated payment gateOneEye reports whether a work item appears complete against your milestone schedule. A human authorises every rupee. No payment, penalty, or termination is ever executed by the system.
  • Not a structural or safety certificationOutput is a documentation aid for finishing work. It does not replace a licensed engineer, a statutory inspection, or a stability certificate.
  • Not a covert toolEvery site team is notified in writing that photographs are being analysed, and what for. Projects set up without that notice are terminated.
  • Not a general surveillance platformOneEye accepts still photographs of a defined worksite. No continuous video, no live camera feeds, no audio, no location tracking of individuals.

Data and security

Site photos are somebody’s home. We treat them that way.

Face blurring
Runs at ingestion in an isolated pre-processing stage, before any inference. Irreversible. Cannot be disabled at any tier.
Data residency
All project media and derived data are stored and processed in India. We do not transfer site media outside India.
Encryption
TLS 1.3 in transit. AES-256 at rest. Per-project key separation.
Access
Role-based and least-privilege. Engineer access to customer media requires a named ticket, is time-boxed, and is logged. Logs retained 12 months.
Retention
Site media is deleted 90 days after project closure, or on request, whichever is earlier. Derived records are retained for the period the customer selects, default 3 years, so a handover dossier remains available.
Model training
Customer media is excluded from shared-model training unless separately opted in. Every model version is recorded with its training data provenance, evaluation results, and known failure modes.
Legal basis
We handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. We are the Data Fiduciary for account data and the Data Processor for site media.
Breach response
Documented runbook. Confirmed personal data breaches are notified to the Data Protection Board and affected principals within 72 hours.
Grievance officer
Write to grievance@oneeye.in. We acknowledge within 3 business days and respond substantively within 30 days, as required by the DPDP Rules, 2025. Workers at a documented site may use this channel directly.
Sub-processors
Cloud, payment, email, error monitoring, and WhatsApp intake providers, with site media held in India. We give 30 days’ notice before adding or replacing one.
